Headmistresses

Croydon High School opened at The Chestnuts, North End on September 14 1874 with 88 pupils. The school moved to Wellesley Road in May 1880 and by then had grown to 230 pupils.   The school moved again in 1966 to its present location in Selsdon.  There have been 10 headmistresses to date:
